Here are the scary parts.

That night I woke up to what seemed like a hurricane outside my window. 鈥?AH!鈥?I screamed as my eyes opened only to see a little girl standing right above my bed. 鈥?Jaymi,鈥?I breathed deeply. 鈥淎re you ok, what s wrong!鈥?she didn鈥檛 answer. Just turned and walked into a wall. After blinking a couple times. I turned on the light and walked into Jaymi鈥檚 room. 鈥淛aymi,鈥?I whispered. 鈥?she groaned then responded. 鈥淲hat鈥檚 the matter Ashlie?鈥?she sleep talked. 鈥淛aymi, were you just in my room?鈥?I whispered hoping she had been. 鈥?No, I just woke up now.鈥?she said clearer. At that point I was scared. Who was that little girl? And why was she is my bedroom.

It was 3:45 and the get out bell had already rung. At the end of a dark, damp hallway stood the detention room 666. Now if you have read the folk tales you will say that is a haunted room. You are correct, in fact you are very, very much correct in many different ways. The classroom was empty and there seemed to be no teacher. On the chalk board stood a clear message that said Students, You Are In Detention For One and Only One Reason. You Were Disobedient! At that we all groaned. We all sat down quickly because the fear of a teacher coming in and yelling at us was way to strong. 鈥?You guys are not going to believe this鈥?I said quietly after 5 minutes. 鈥淲hat?鈥?asked Jordan who seemed to be interested. 鈥?Last night I woke up at like two o鈥檆lock and a little girl was standing over my bed.鈥?I said anxiously. 鈥淎nd let me guess it wasn鈥檛 Jaymi.鈥?said Catty parsimoniously. 鈥?We sat from 10 minutes then I noticed some one standing outside the window. It was the little girl from the night before. Catty and Jordan also looked like they were seeing the girl. We jumped out of our seats and ran for the door. Before I reached the it I realized that the date was different then when we had come in. When we came in it was

Sept 25th, 1987 now it was March 5th , 1950. We had gone back in time. Suddenly Jordan started screaming. 鈥淭he door won鈥檛 open! The door won鈥檛 open.

The room seemed to get dark. And the lights started to flicker. 鈥淲hat do we do?鈥?screamed Catty. I must not of heard her. I was stareing. Stareing at the classroom that was suddenly crowded with people . Catty and Jordan were also stareing at this point. 鈥?Under your desks children!鈥?screamed a young lady, who must have been the teacher. 鈥淢rs. Dushaye! What is this?鈥?screamed a little blonde girl in the front row. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a earthquake! Children stay calm.! The young Mrs. Dushaye cried. 鈥淲hat鈥檚 going on!鈥?screamed Jordan. Mrs. Dushaye鈥檚 attention turned to Jordan. 鈥淎h! Quickly get under the desk!鈥?she screamed as she grabbed Jordan鈥檚 arm. 鈥淐atty, Ashlie help!鈥?Jordan cried. 鈥淐hild, you are having delusions there is no one there鈥?Mrs. Dushaye screamed. Jordan stopped in her tracks, she turned back and there was Catty and I trying to reach her. Finally we grabbed her. Everything stopped. All of the children and the young Mrs. Dushaye was gone. Catty turned the knob on the door and it opened. She looked back at me and Jordan with a confused look her face. I stood back and looked at the date. It was Sept 25th, 1987. Back to where it had started.

You should download a pretty simple screenwriting program from celtx.com. It will help your format since when you're making a movie you can't explain all of the story line. Write in actions that describe how your characters are feeling instead of just writing 'I was scared' say 'her eyes widen and her hands clenched her night gown'.

I highly suggest reading Robert McKee's Story. It's very helpful !
