Should i just move on from him?

so there is this guy that i've liked about half a year. he knows that. i shower him with attention and i see all his myspace flirtings with girls that live in different states and countries. he made feel like i wasnt good enough for him because of his flirtings so i started exercising consistently. a few days ago, knowing how im getting skinnier and pushing myself more and more, he told me how much he gets turned off by girls who care so much about their looks when they dont need to. now i get compliments from guys who tell me to just forget about him. i guess im just tired of hoping that something might happen. i know that this feeling is fading but i know once i get over him, i wont want to talk to him nearly as much. maybe he will think i'm ignoring him or something, idk. some people have told me perhaps he will get jealous once i cut back on giving him attention. what do you think i should do?

If he's interested in you, he will seek you out if you stop giving him so much attention. Don't try to improve yourself for someone else, though. If other guys are hitting on you, obviously you look fine. If this other guy isn't going to come around, to heck with him. Have fun and maybe one of these other guys will appreciate what you have to offer :)

wait question, do you actually know this guy in person or just through myspace. If you know him in person and hes just flirting with random girls it most likely means nothing. If you only know him through myspace then you should move on for sure.
