i have 2 very old guitars but dont know the year on the end of the necks of them where u tighten up the strings is the brand name "state of the art" and thats all they have i cant find a model number on them either, ive searched on the net and its all state of the art items not brands and cant find them anywhere.they are both electric and one has a switch on it that has 5 different placements. i got a picture of one on my myspace account if that helps just ask me when u respond to this thanks everyone for their answers

name could be hidden under neck joint or under any other plate, pick plate, cover plate, switch plate ,tuners. ps...please be careful taking apart your guitar in search of a name.
